Paul McCloskey
I was born in Sheffield and studied Mathematics at university, where I discovered computers – joining the GPO in their embryonic computer dept. Computer security led to analysis of computer crime, prosecuting hackers, organisational development and managing change.
I was chair of a cancer charity for 30 years. After taking early retirement, my wife and I spent twenty years with an NGO visiting families on five continents seeing first-hand the impact of climate change. We’ve been involved in local politics for over 25 years. We moved from Cheltenham to Hampton Magna in 2022 and I have been a Parish Councillor since November 2024.
